This is the much needed improvement over Lufthansa’s existing business class seats. What I do not like is how inconsistent these seats are. You get very different amounts of personal space and comfort depending on where you end up in the cabin.

Allegris, would translate to happiness. I am not sure that the color scheme of the cabin will bring a lot of happiness. Very German indeed. Practical, confortable, but zero fun. These business clusters seem to be a very good product though. Just like Sam, I am not a big fan of these hard shell sliding seats in economy. And btw, people should acknowledge more the fact that Sam has become more front facing when he doesn't like something.

I think you are being sponsored because Lufthansa are total shite on long haul. I flew them GVA-MUC-GRU a while back. 40m connection time, they made me literally run, and the service MUC-GRU in business was not only unacceptable it was downright disgraceful. Hawaiian Airlines definitely puts many of the major US carriers' products to shame. They certainly need the competition a many have cabins, food service, etc. that look like they were designed by the bean counters.

One of the things that I respect about star alliance, in general, is that the staff is just as hospitable to someone in economy as they are to a media personality sitting in business or first. All airline staff is nice when the cameras are rolling, but it is refreshing to see that the standard across star alliance is to treat every customer with a warm welcome
